We are now looking for a Concept Manager to join our Water Solutions team
The purpose of your work is to develop feasible water treatment solutions from early vision to readiness for project execution that are:
- sustainable
- matching customer needs
- executable in defined time schedule, scope and operational performance

As a concept manager you identify solution opportunities at the customers and develop initial vision of a solution. You develop sustainable and value-creating technical solutions in co-operation with industrial customers. You define mass and energy balances, process flow diagram, CAPEX and OPEX calculations for the solution. You plan and initiate procurement of key technology supply and pre-engineering works. You coordinate and cooperate with our project management and O&M during the pre-engineering phase. You also generate technical appendices for our service contracts.
The position is placed in Vantaa, Finland.
To succeed in this role we expect you to have
- Engineer with masters degree, preferably as chemical (or process) engineer
- 5+ years relevant working experience and preferably “hands on” experience in water and wastewater treatment from planning to project execution and onsite trouble shooting
- Focus areas preferably within raw water treatment, make-up water treatment, flue gas condensate treatment and water reuse
- Understanding of relevant technologies: membrane treatment, electrodialysis, ion exchangers, flocculation/coagulation, sedimentation, filtration, evaporation and crystallization
- Excellent problem solving and teamworking skills, hands on mentality
- Excellent skills in MS Office
- Finnish and fluent English
- Driving license
