THE ROLE
As an Solution Support Electrical Designer:
You will become part of a global pre-sales team of around 30 professionals, which operates on three different continents. This is a new role, so you get to participate in its development. You support the team members by making electrical designs (floor plan layouts, circuit and cabinet diagrams), documentation, and you are involved in various EV charging solution projects. You have experience with different CAD (2d/3d) programs, you are familiar with renderings, and you want to join a dynamic community and company.
In this role, occasional travelling is required.
At Kempower we work hybrid. You can be located in Lahti or Helsinki area.
WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
- Suitable technical education in the electrical (engineering, MSc. or BSc. Degree in electrical engineering or similar)
- At least a few years of extensive experience in tasks related to electrical design
- Understanding of circuit diagrams and how to make them
- CAD and MS Office skills
- Experience in project management, electrical contracting/installation, supervision, etc. is an advantage.
- Ensuring that all elements are on track and within customers specification.
- It is important to understand Finnish electrical standards.
- Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and project milestones.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing there needs and ensuring that their expectations are met.
- Experience in automotive, EV or EV charging industries are remarkable merits.
- Curiosity to quickly develop in-depth knowledge of EV charging solutions.
- A customer-oriented mindset, and ability to understand customer needs and processes.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Superior organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- As our official company language is English, we expect you to have good English skills. Other languages are considered a merit.
- An independent and proactive way of acting in your work.
- At Kempower we work hybrid but it’s important to be able to work weekly in Lahti and/or Helsinki office in Pitäjänmäki.
