We are now looking for a forward looking Manager, Business Control with strong personal drive. The position will support our Consumer Solutions Consumer Customers business unit in Finland which is responsible for electricity sales as well as related value-added and digital services to B2C customers. This position will give you the chance to join an international and diverse group with strong focus on driving the sustainability agenda. Your closest colleagues will be placed in Espoo as well as in Sweden, Norway and Poland.
About the role
Your main role as a Manager, Business Control is to work closely with business by supporting and challenging them through performance follow-up, long-term forecasting and impacting decision making from financial point of view in co-operation with other finance professionals internationally Fortum wide. You play a key role as finance interface towards the business unit. You will also participate in shaping the strategy of the business unit and defining the KPIs to track both financial and operational performance together with the management team.
You will maintain and improve finance setup and reporting in own area of responsibility independently as well as participate to group level projects from finance point of view.
The position is located in Espoo, Finland and reporting to Head of Business Control Consumer Solutions
About you
You have an academic degree in Economics and proven track record in business controlling, performance reporting as well as sales process controlling in international working environment preferably in big corporation. Commodity market experience is seen as a big benefit to succeed in this role. Based on previous tasks you are able to convince us that you are individually capable to act as an active business partner and support decision making.
As a person you are analytical business and customer oriented finance professional having excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as ability to influence others across Fortum’s global organization. You possess proactive and team-oriented behavior but are able to reach set targets individually as well. You are constructive challenger with can do attitude and take initiative to improve business as well as finance processes further and deliver results. You can also convince us that you are flexible person with high clockspeed and stress tolerance.
To succeed in this role some travelling is required.
Excellent knowledge of finance systems and business intelligence tools is required.
You are fluent in English.
