Hiab is looking for a Price & Margin Analyst in Helsinki. In this role you combine commercial thinking and process optimization with a data-driven attitude. You will help build our pricing capabilities to increase our profitability significantly in the coming years. You will join a truly international working environment and support making global trade faster, smarter and more sustainable - smarter cargo flow for a better everyday.
What you’ll be doing
- Work closely with product, sales and sourcing managers to improve operational pricing processes and tools to drive efficiency, customer satisfaction and profitability
- Develop price models and build value analysis of products, customer and application processes to manage the price and profit performance of our business
- Help to develop our core pricing Google Cloud Platform further
- Support design and implementation of systems which handle price and margin data and analysis (configurators, CPQ, ERP, CRM)
What you’ll bring
- Excellent analytical and / or data science skills, both in analyzing data to relevant conclusions and in structuring data sources and improving processes and data quality
- Demonstrated ability to acquire deep skills in a business analysis software package (e.g. Google Sheets, Excel, SAS or any other)
- Highly motivated, "hands on", energized, passion and commitment for pricing
- 0-2 year experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, high-profile strategic/pricing role in other multinational company
- Master’s Degree in Exact Science, Engineering, Management or Economics
Nice to have
- Programming skills, e.g. SQL, Python
- Experience in creating automation workflows, either using automation tools (e.g. UiPath, Zapier, Workato) or building in-house programming scripts
- Experience in working with Google Cloud Platform
- Experience in project and change management
- Experience in working in complex, cross-functional and global teams

- Value-based pricing, selling and commercial strategies

- Further implementation of price and margin performance management
